09/11/13: So, we got a call from Dish telling us that it was the final of their Mr Dish 2013 competition and we just couldn’t say no.
Shirtless men, amazing music and a drag queen with a moustache – would anyone say no? The contest kicked off at 1am with a line of judges as beautiful as the contestants. Among them was the gorgeous Johanna Londinium, the one and only La Pequena and, to our surprise, our QX colleague Anthony Gilet – not satisfied with a magazine and sex blog, he’s now moonlighting as a pageant judge.
On stage, Jonny Woo appeared looking like he was fresh off the set of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want it That Way’ music video, in his white suit – someone who clearly uses Daz. Not only did he introduce the contestants one by one, he also took events into his own hands and pulled some deserving last minute entrants from the crowd.
Then the judges picked their final three, who’s fate was left to the East Bloc crowd. The winner of Mr Dish was a tanned Adonis with a firm six pack (we suspect a full dish is something this guy never has for dinner). He received a trophy, not out of place at a Sunday football match, £250 cash and a year’s premium membership to Dish and Manhunt. What a lucky, lucky girl! All we need to know now is how to get Mr Dish 2013 served up in one – but alas he has a boyfriend.
There was plenty more hot stuff serving themselves on plates around the rest of the club – and we mustn’t forget the beautiful Manhunt promo boys, Dan and Toni, giving out sweets, lip balms and sexy smiles. There was also some banging music to grind, slut drop and even twerk to, with QBoy pumping out R’n’B in the side room. We love Dish, we loved Mr Dish and we’ll see you next month for another greedy serving!
