A Night Of House at Eagle London

A Night Of House at Eagle London

11/03/17: A few hours before the world heard the news of the death of Joni Sledge, of Sister Sledge fame, members of the disco Family were gathered at the Eagle in Vauxhall to get thoroughly Lost In Music for what was billed as “A Night of Classics”. And that’s certainly what we got under the expert ministration of the man mountain CJ Cooper and his playlist full of forgotten favourites from Disco to Soul and House. We’re probably showing our age here, and you may assume that we’ve Seen Better Days, but we are not ashamed to say we were there the first time round for quite of few of those tunes (just the House ones, though, thank you very much!) and it felt great to be basking again in those waves of well-loved beats. Clearly we weren’t the only ones enjoying the vibe: some serious shapes got thrown on the dance floor that night, as if people were trying to prove they’re The Greatest Dancer. So, Thank You For The Party.
