13/02/16: I was greeted off the bus by rain to the face and a wind that would rip the jock strap off any soul brave enough to forego his thermals on the way to the club.
Usually such fine establishments have a tendency to spill out onto the streets, but it wasn’t until I got to the dance floor that I found the real action, not because of the ridiculously bitter weather, but rather the ridiculously good party that was going on below. So good in fact that the main room stayed packed all night long, with track after track of the finest house, techno & electronica, mixed seamlessly by all the Night Sheen DJs. On hand with a much needed warm up was guest for the night, Polanski who always gives you what you want, but never how you expect. Next up was our first resident, the brilliant Hannah Holland who proved her place as the queen of ‘batty bass’ and picked her tracks so perfectly she had half the club shirtless with their hands in the air in no time. Finally Josh Caffe kept the vibe going right until the end, with tracks that just wouldn’t let you leave. Night Sheen’s a guided tour of the best underground house and bass that reads the crowd so perfectly, you know they’re right there with you every step of the way giving you exactly what you need to let loose and party hard!
