01/02/11: The one thing always missing from a Monday night was some place to go after come Tuesday morning, but fear not, as Open afterhours returns to Vauxhall after years of rocking the gay scene. Opening the night, DMS got everyone moving and grooving with some commercial pop in the lounge followed by Lee Harris. DJs DouGuim and Dean O’Brien took over the Mirror Arch with the best pumping, vocal, uplifting tunes, whilst buff gogo’s strutted their stuff on stage as Juicy fire breathed – it was smoking. With two rooms of commercial dance and house, there is a little something for everyone and enough space to dance until the morning sunrise. In less than a few weeks, Open will definitely become a huge success… a place to continue the fun will always have a place in my heart.
