PINK COLLAR GAY BOXING VS LOVECHILD

15/04/11: So it was gay boxing on Friday evening at one of London’s most prestigious venues, and there wasn’t one cry of ‘not the face!’ all night. Being backstage, preparing to go out for my first public fight in an enormous ring and in front of hundreds of people was, however, one of the more nerve-wracking experiences I’ve experienced in recent years. In the end though it was an exhilarating time, an electric atmosphere and the feeling of relief and achievement once that final bell rung was second to none. In all there were six fights on the night, each with three rounds, and a responsive, encouraging crowd cheered on each participant with gusto. Between the rounds gorgeous muscled boys from club brand Lovechild strutted through the ring in nothing but slashed off T-shirts and tight white briefs, whilst DJ-extraordinaire MisWhite played some awesome tracks to keep everyone buzzing. And when the very last fight of the night was done, the decks were moved into the ring, the lights came down and premier club night Lovechild prepared to keep everyone dancing the night away…
