18/09/14: Heaven’s Monday night institution, Popcorn, passed its 17th anniversary this week with a mahoosive celebration under the arches.
On the main floor Neroli and Adam Turner did an amazing back-2-back set before handing over to guest DJ duo the Futuristic Polarbears, who have taken their brand of progressive house and electronic dance music from Ibiza to Korea and everywhere in between.
The main show saw a Heaven vs Hell dance-off while God sat on her throne watching the action unfold.
Meanwhile over in the DP, tech and deep house was the order of the day with regular Zach Burns joined on the decks by Brit and MOBO award winner Lemar, and elsewhere Sam DMS and T-Rex kept the R’n’B room packed to the rafters – David H was bashing his electronic and traditional percussion kit like his life depended on it!
Every room was heaving with a hot mix of hot mess and just plain hotties of every persuasion that make Popcorn the true phenomenon it is.
