11/09/14: The guests from Ru Paul’s Drag Race have showcased America’s best tranny talent on the stage at G-A-Y, but last week’s Porn Idol was a little different and more resembled a meeting of the Commonwealth’s First Ladies.
Representing Australia was RPDR darling, American Apparel model, and Australian Idol phenomenon Courtney Act, while from north of the border the delectable sweet shortbread that is Mary Mac represented Scotland, with a delicate English rose (!?) in the form of Baga Chipz completing the judgemental threesome.
Ten hotties and notties strutted their stuff in a show vaguely reminiscent of Embarrassing Bodies, but there were a couple of ‘stand outs’ namely Emilio, a Spanish, 27 year old male midwife, and Raphael, a 19 year old straight Brazilian model. But it was audience member Corby whose member caught the judges’ eye and after a dance off with tranny Jackie while Courtney sang Kylie’s ‘Lovers’ and crowd-surfed, he snatched the hundred nicker and waltzed off with a wiggle of a pert buttock and a perfect pucker.
