25/04/15: We were ‘nasty girls’ on that dance floor last Saturday, as R & She celebrated its 3rd birthday at Tipsy in Dalston.
A night dedicated to R&B divas from the 90s to present was perfect for us, as we were those crazy teens slut-dropping to Destiny’s Child on MTV! The venue was filled with hot guys and their even hotter hags. Some even initiated a dance battle when Missy Elliott came on and it got more interesting from there, as resident DJs QBoy, David Oh and Neil Price provided us with the beats, both old and new. With not a single filler track to be heard, we were shaking our pom pom non-stop, no time for even a quick cigarette! Definitely one of the best R&B nights we’ve been to, those boys knew exactly what we wanted and we’ll definitely keep an eye out for the next one.
