24/02/11: Thursdays are now officially the most pampered day of the week as gays across London prune and preen themselves in preparation for a night at Room Service. One doesn’t just turn up, one turns it out here! Trannies and porn stars are on the guest list. Models and gay mag slags (that’s us) prop up the bar, flashing lashes at the rich lawyers and doctor types to buy them drinks. Post-London Fashion Week designers flock down to kick up a McQueen heel as an army of hot boys rub moobs on the dancefloor, passing air kisses and pinching butts as they saunter by. The atmosphere is electric as Kris Di Angelis and James Pople spin out the effortlessly cool sounds to a roaring, appreciative crowd. Over by the bar Jodie Harsh chinks glasses with Jonathan Agassi from porn company Lucas Entertainment; last week she was popping champagne corks with Roisin Murphy. Over in the far corner the devilish David Hart of photo studio shootmeup.co.uk snaps away at the cut cheek bones of a trail of cuties, eager to be immortalized… well, until next week’s bunch of disco reprobates descend down into this cauldron of queer clubbing that in just three short months has set Soho ablaze.
