06/03/11: Geared up for some glam slam sexiness, QX tottered on down to Café de Paris last Sunday for the highly anticipated return of hot DTPM spin-off Sexyback. After throwing an absolutely incredible NYD spectacular at the very same venue, we were wondering how the hell promoter Lee Freeman and his team could possibly top such an amazing night. Ushered in by delectable door hostess, Miss Jonny (“Hi girl!”) we joined the horny hunks, gAylisters and fashionistas lapping up the top-notch tuneage, VIP service and hotter-than-hot entertainment.
On hand were some seriously sexy Manhunt honeys handing out goodies, while DTPM DJ legends Fat Tony and Nick Tchnerniak served up the humpin’ house anthems, joined onstage by the divalicious Lizzie France – that girl can sing! Overhead a death defying aerial silk acrobatics display had us gasping for more. Numbers weren’t up there with the masses that poured into the NYD event, be they put off by this rotten ongoing recession or the bitter cold outside, which is a shame as the night certainly delivered in terms of music, ambience and attitude. We hope the future heralds the club the success it deserves. Bringing sexy back? Hell yeah!
