SHARP TIDY
Posted on January 28, 2012
28/01/12: With all the Spanish flavoured house flooding our shores, the gay scene has been lacking a harder edge for some time now, so we were at the front of the queue on Saturday for the first ‘Sharp Tidy’ at Protocol and Lightbox.
A collaboration from two legendary duos – the Sharp Boys and the Tidy Boys – Sharp Tidy was two rooms of hard house, tech house and techno from some of the genres best as well as some rising stars.
A role call of household names including Andy Farley, Anne Savage, Steve Thomas, Per QX, Fat Tony and others laid down an amazing soundtrack for a mixed crowd of cute gay boys, straight mates and die-hard, hard house fans with day-glo face paint and cartoon character backpacks.
For fans of hard, sexy fun this night was unmissable and our eBay order for glo-sticks is on the way in anticipation of the next one. Bring it on!
Check out more photos from this event and plan your next night out, all in the palm of your hand with the ‘QX Gay London’ iPhone app. Available to download FREE from the iTunes app store.
