20/12/12: Thursdays are notoriously difficult in Soho and many club nights have launched and then floundered over the years, but one that is happily sailing the choppy waters of our fickle and beloved scene is Society at Lo-Profile.
We rocked up last week for its first birthday to find all our favourite hosts in the house – John Brooks, Martin Princess and gorgeous Jonny Hooley – and the über hot Raul on the podium while the lovely Fabio Luigi span a set of happy uplifting and commercial tracks.
Fun, funky and attitude free (a rarity in Soho these days), Society attracts a hot and beautiful crowd equally happy to go shirtless or keep the clothing on, who don’t just prop up the bar and pose, but are not afraid to dance, get sweaty and make eyes across the dancefloor.
Yes the bar area is there for a chat or to catch someone’s name, but it’s on the dancefloor where the fun is to be had, and there was a lot of fresh and sexy fun to be had last week! Loves it!
