SUPERMARTXÉ

SUPERMARTXÉ

27/11/10: After two years of spectacular monthly parties in London, the brand was back with a bang, as Logan and crew celebrated the SuperMartXe 2nd Anniversary. Queues were enormous, which meant one thing – this was going to be one hell of a party! There was an extreme delay for many of us to get into the venue, get coats checked-in and finally get to the dancefloor. We’re all well aware of the chaos that was unfolding and it ruined the night for many who didn’t get into the club, which is a shame. However, safely inside after the stress, the dancefloor and the music was pumping as the enormous venue was heaving with every hot totty in London across the four rooms. Circus, hosted by Jodie Harsh, brought to us a room of old Hollywood glamour with a massive elephant, the most luscious gogos and a range of tribal electro sounds from three fantastic DJs, Josh-You-Are and Kris Di Angelis. Next stop, the Main Arch: SuperMartXe. The room was packed, the music was vibrant and the production was immense, nothing less than expected. Tearing up the floor as the musical beats pulsated throughout our bodies, Tony English smashed it with his usual up-to-date progressive vocal tunes with a twist of Spanish, followed by the gorgeous Hugo Sanchez and the talented Danny Verde. And as all this was going on, we were treated to a live PA from Belle who sung Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl In The World’. This was followed by beautiful gogos who were dressed in fairy tale theme as they freely danced in front of their glistening castle. Through to the Lo-Profile VIP Lounge and boy, it was fabulous. Nathan 6, Paul Heron and Phil Marriot played the best tunes inside big inflatable delicious lips – camp! Finally, the Trade room was taken over by Per QX, Steve Thomas and Nick Tcherniak who spun the tribal driven rhythms and cutting edge beats that trade is famous for. Hats off to Logan and co for all the hard work on the actual club production itself, it’s just such a shame they were let down by the venue management when it came to the logistics of security, coat check and entry. Still, it would be shame to let that take the shine off the quality of the party itself.
