21/05/16: It’s the night of the rubber calendar we’ve all been waiting for!
The night of Mr Hoist Rubber 2016 has come all over us and gone, leaving one lucky man holding the only rubber title available in the UK. With a £500 Expectations voucher, and the opportunity to be the UK rubber ambassador up for grabs, it was an important night for the community, and this year saw 7 contestants enter.
Asked their name, their best bit of gear and what they’d do with the title, Rob Bough won the the most amount of votes for his second year in row making him our Mr Hoist Rubber 2016! Commiserations to 2nd and 3rd place winners James Harper and sexy skinhead Ivan.
In times like this when our rubber scene is under threat from so many sources, it’s important we choose a figure we trust to keep its latex seams together. Cheers to you Rob!
