04/06/17: We popped down to Mighty Hoopla last weekend and, as you can see, it was MAYJOR (with a Y). Literally hours after the worst terrorist attack to hit London since the 7/7 bombings, queer Londoners showed their infamous courage and defiance by donning sparkly hotpants and hotfooting it to Vicky Park for a ten hour long, sequin spattered celebration of cheesy pop and gay dance! Performers included Sophie Ellis-Bextor who was INCREDIBLE, the gorgeous Fleur East, Years & Years, feminist youth icon GIRLI, and loads more! It was an unforgettable, gorgeous, special day. We can’t wait for next year!
