22/11/14: In what has been a tough economic climate for clubs recently, anything that lasts more than a couple of years is a rarity, but last weekend we took our hats off, raised a glass and shook our booty with promoters Tony and Dan!
TheMenWhoFell2Earth collective raved it up as they celebrated four fabulous years at our favourite east London low down dirty dance spot, East Bloc. Ruling over the main room was part Horse Meat Disco legend, part globe-trotting real and proper house music wiz and full-on über brilliant Severino. Any party with Seve beaming out over the controls is always a.ma.zing.
Also making a welcome return, room 2 saw East End Debbie bring their unique blend of female-fronted legends to the dance floor with Blondie, Tina and classic Madge realness. Every room, corridor, nook and cranny was packed with party people of every persuasion from glam tranny and fucked-up draaaag to the hottest, cutest boys on the planet mixing and getting messy in this hedonistic homo hideaway. TMWF2E… We salute you.
