24/10/15: East Bloc on Saturday night saw a space invasion of epic proportions for TheMenWhoFell2Earth’s fifth birthday party.
Powered by the usual classic-house/disco/indie-remix- rocket fuel of the resident DJs and a supernova of a set from Horsemeat Disco’s Jim Stanton, all the stars of East London were out for one of our favourite events on the alternative clubbing scene.
Constellations of twinks twinkled in the sweaty darkness, Saturnine bears orbited each other in the laser beams – even the muscle Marys seemed meteor than usual. East Bloc’s famous black hole was ram-packed with a slut-dropping, body-popping crowd of space cadets.
Resident art-tart hosts BOTHER swam through the crowds like intergalactic Elizabethan deep-sea fish, and international babe-station Oly Innes whored the door like a U-F-Ho. It was hot, it was dripping, and we’re still tripping.
Time to start training: the next MenWhoFell mission leaves on January 23rd.
