Tik Tok

28/03/2015: The Tik Tok totty was out in force at Barcode, as Vauxhall’s fave full-throttle industrial-kool nite klub stepped on the gas for another pumpin’ party last weekend.

Taking in two rampant floors of Spanish-tinged antics, the all-night fracas saw a wayward crowd of dance luvvers flocking to the Albert Embankment hotspot for non-stop deep house, elektro and nu disco anthems. Highlights included the likes of Chris Barker and Kurt Potter cranking up the beats in the front bar, for underground grooves galore that had the thrilled throng erupting with excitement. Meanwhile, a mere limp-wristed mince up the back passage found us spinning giddily on the main floor for an earth-shattering shakedown, with formidable DJ force, Alex Georgiou, unleashing some of the hottest licks in town.  Elsewhere, all eyes were on dazzling hostesses Deborah Ombres and a kimono-clad La Pequeña, channelling 80s Almodovar for a Women on the Verge of a Dancefloor Breakdown spectacular amidst the mirror balls. Upstairs, an array of eminently shaggable boys basked in a panoramic view of the action below as QX settled in for a long night at one of the craaaziest monthly blowouts on the scene.

Don’t miss Tik Tok at Barcode next time!
