02/11/13: Last Saturday clubbers from all over the globe came together for a 12 hour nonstop party celebrating Trade’s birthday at new home Egg nightclub!
And what a place to re-home Trade, it was the perfect venue which was big enough to hold thousands of clubbers across five rooms. With over 20 Djs you can imagine the fun we had. The place was pumping with the most electrifying hard house which ran through your body and made your legs just start jumping automatically.
At one point I was having a good ol’ mesh in the middle, so much fun! Some of the DJs included Pagano, who absolutely smashed it as usual, Nick Tchnerniak, Jamie De Roy, Gonzalo Rivas, Massimo Paramour, Sharp Boys & Tonic and many more. Starting back in 1990 by Lawrence Malice, Trade has become massively pioneering and influential on the gay scene and for many other promoters, too.
With outstanding artwork by the hugely talented one and only Mark Wardel, passionate sets by all our favourite DJs and Trade’s new promoter Steven Sharp, I can see many more years to come for Trade. Happy Birthday Trade, it really was the party of the year!
