Unchill

06/04/14: Thought Unchill would be a relaxing way to come down on Sunday morning? Fat chance! Barcode’s new afterhours kicked-off Sunday with a loud-ass party across two rooms with six DJs featuring everything from house music and uplifting tech-house to groovy deep tunes reminding those pesky church biddies that the weekend ain’t over yet, bitches!

In the front room, Julien Perret, Laris Alexander and Marco Gee served up some syrupy sweet sounds, the kind that moves your hips and shoulders in sync while gettin’ ‘bottom-kissed’ by live conga drummer Bongosan who delivered the beats in time with the groovy deep house of Mr. Gee.

In the back room, Stevie B and Adam Watts laid it on thick to a packed house of hot guys who know how to stomp their feet and truly release the energy on the dance floor.

As Unchill regular DJ Michael Mileti (‘I Need Somebody Tonight’) puts it, “We play all the good deep, Iberican and techno house you can’t possibly hear anywhere else. Unchill gives a variety of choice.”

We were the ones spoiled for choice as the music lured a fresh vibe of guys from across the whole spectrum of clubland. Sexy dancers to macho hunks all happy and dancing ‘til the last beat of the weekend.
