01/09/12: Walking scantily clad along the shore, when we arrived at Honey, our nipples were as hard as the house music inside.
And though the night was dubbed ‘Jet Set’, there was simply no need to go jet setting when you had the crème-de-la-crème of the clubbing scene right here at Wild Fruit!
A different scene to Audio, down on the beach, the beats (and men) were noticeably dirtier. We started skanking to the finest R&B with the dazzling Munroe Bergdorf, who’s sparkling attire outshone any disco ball, before Sam ‘DMS’ Londt dropped a few of our favourite tracks.
Kris Di Angelis slayed the main room when he dropped Rihanna at the end of his set before Doug Silva took over. In between our infamous pouting and doling out courtesy pies to ratchett (new word) Grindr stalkers, we found an abundance of cute guys (and their phone numbers) – so hot we forgot all about the cold outside!
It was no longer our nipples that were hard… So, while honey is known for attracting bees, Honey Club was all about bees in the trap.
