07/01/12: After the two weeks of excess over Christmas and New Year, we were expecting the first weekend of January to be a restrained and subdued affair, but only two steps into Arcadia and we realised just how wrong we were as the venue was awash with muscle bears, young cuties and everything in between.
The low lighting levels in the first bar made for a calm and intimate social area, while next door in the main room the packed dance floor moved almost as one as Christian M seamlessly blended Fedde Le Grand’s brilliant remix of Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’ with Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ and Blue Pearl vs Tyrrell’s ‘Naked In The Rain’.
Easily one of the best dance clubs in London, the no-attitude, one-size-fits-all approach of XXL always delivers a top night out. maze as the XXL crew proved they’ve always got what it takes to throw one of helluva party!
