12/09/15: What gay man doesn’t like a little XXL? And I’m no different.
A Soho-lite myself I had never had the pleasure of venturing outside of W1 for a little party and a snog. I never saw the need.
A little walk across Southwark Bridge and who was to know that there was a fabulous bear’s playground – dance floors, lounges and even a dark room for naughty bears? I joined a concoction of large, bearded, hunky men, hairy chests; peppered with few six-packed yielding – footie kit wearing guys slut-dropping for their audience.
The music choice is on point – with two different dance spaces one with dance music and the other – RnB.
I love myself a little RnB and barely left that room (only to visit the ‘loos’). Large teddy bears swung overhead in the arches in hoists (no doubt in tribute to the CP and leather play bears are known for); and most impressively – with so many bars there – there’s no need to queue for a drinks.
As the slogan goes – bigger, better, bolder.
