01/10/16: One thing’s for sure, XXL is the place to be!
It was the first time in a while that I’ve found time to pop down, amongst my busy schedule of getting wasted with Vanity Von Glow and writing thinkpieces about Nicola Roberts. I ventured down with SNP Parliamentary Advisor Nathan Sparling, who’d be the first to admit he’s partial to a beary tipple or two of a Saturday night.
It was just the two of us, but we bumped into literally DOZENS of people we know – everyone from old uni flames, to ex colleagues, to ex boyfriends, to photographers, to minor celebrities, to scene faces…EVERY. ONE. WAS. THERE.
It’s testament to XXL’s roaring, growling success. And I was totally reminded why I love it. The wonderful, non-judgy vibes and just everyone’s attitude, staff and punters alike; throw inhibitions to the wind, forget your troubles and HAVE FUN. Quite right.
