17/08/13: London’s hunks were in full force at pumpin’ pleasure palace Pulse as the biggest weekly bears’ bash in town staged another storming party with a steamy ‘XXL Leather’ romp last weekend.
Taking in all the gruff ‘n’ grizzly goings on that make XXL such a runaway success, a monumental crowd of leather-lovin’ dudes gave it up for devastating DJ action and a whole lot more across five fantastic arches that had the entire block rockin’ through the night.
Hedonistic highlights saw dazzling deck-meister, Christian M, slamming down a sensational soundtrack of commercial dance licks in the main room that saw burly blokes taking on dirty daddies and cuddly cubs for a disco pile-up, whilst next door, our ever-dependable Joe Egg played it fast and loose with a bouncing bevy of pop hits from the past to the present.
Elsewhere, the cavernous and well-equipped darkroom proved as popular as always with those larger than life XXL fans, as did the supersized lounge terrace, with a non-stop stream of beefcake keeping us rubbernecking into the small hours.
Back inside, there was even more thrilling DJ action to come from Alex Logan and Mark Ames as the craziness continued through ‘til 7am. Get set for a blast from the past as XXL charges back with a rampaging ‘Retro’ blowout this Saturday!
