24/11/12: The weekend deluge was no match for a beefed-up crowd of funkin’ XXL leather hunks as XXL rocked the mighty Pulse arches with a spectacular ‘XXL Leather’ bash last weekend. It was XXL leather hunks all round! Featuring a leather-lovin’ line-up of dazzling DJ action and more across four raging rooms, QX Club News hit the South Bank to check out the brawny bonanza at one of the hottest homo hangouts in town.
Monumental action at the decks saw rampant resident, Christian M, hammering down a whip-cracking soundtrack of turbo-powered commercial club sounds that had the crazed crush almost busting out of their leather chaps in excitement on the main floor.
Meanwhile, there were poptastic beats next door as spin doctor, Joe Egg, unleashed a non-stop disco mix with enough roof-raising retro party bangers to keep us happy until next week. As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one night, there was plenty of action elsewhere with the hairy high-jinks spilling out into the ever popular XXL garden and cruise maze as the capers continued through ‘til late!
