18/06/11: The outsize antics were back in effect as QX got pumping for a fabulous, furry ‘XXL Leather’ bash at the Arcadia arches last Saturday. Featuring all our fave XXL action, but with a sizzling leather twist, a crowd of burly boyz, dazzling daddies, gorgeous geezers and all their friends ran amok as one of the scene’s most popular clubbing fixtures raised the roof yet again. Highlights included Christian M taking control of the decks for a non-stop barrage of commercially inclined dance smashes in the main room as QX got stomping amidst the ever-friendly throng. Meanwhile, there were further thrills to be had in the back bar with Joe Egg spinning a juke box mash-up taking in everything from Roxy Music to Girl Aloud, Nicola Roberts’ brand new floor filler. Elsewhere, there were plenty of opportunities to rest our worn out dancing feet in the spacious outside terraces and cavernous main bar, not to mention delicious doings in the darkroom.
