31/12/13: QX Club News hitched a happening ride into 2014 as the mighty XXL staged a monumental New Year’s Eve bash that had the hunkish and the hairy flocking to Pulse in their masses.
Featuring a supersized night of beefed-up antics, the proceedings kicked off early at 8pm and rampaged unabridged through ‘til 9am, proving that London’s bears and their pals sure know how to rock one helluva party.
Massive action on the dancefloor saw resident deck master, Christian M, leading the countdown with a euphoric mash-up of commercial raves in the main room, with more to come from super-special guest DJ, Andy Almighty plus the very talented Alex Logan.
Next door, things got funky for booty-bumpin’ R&B licks and pop smashes with New Year’s Daddy, Joe Egg, that had the boys breakin’ out under the dazzling décor. Meanwhile, there were all manner of antics elsewhere as the near-capacity crowd started the year as they meant to continue in the darkroom before taking a breather on the sumptuously appointed lounge terrace.
As if all that wasn’t enough to get excited about, the XXL posse returned the very next day for another storming party with special ‘golden ticket’ holders getting entry to both. Here’s wishing all the team at XXL a great 2014!
