03/12/11: QX Club News hit the Arcadia Arches for an action-packed World AIDS Day event as the one-size-fits-all crew let loose with a rampaging ‘Rubbed Up’ edition of the popular bears’ bash last weekend.
Drawing in a near-capacity crowd of hairy hunks and grizzly geezers, things got frantic for ‘safe and sleazy’ rubber-themed antics that had the party throng paying their respects to all those affected by HIV and AIDS over the years whilst romping it through the night at one of the steamiest homo hangouts in the capital.
Highlights included Christian M rockin’ the main room with a non-stop barrage of commercial anthems and underground classics that had dazzling daddies and cute cubs bumpin’ biceps on the dancefloor.
Meanwhile, there were supersized shenanigans galore in the ‘Fur Lounge’ as retro-master, DJ Joe Egg, led the charge for a greatest hits rundown of riotous rarities and jukebox thrills.
Elsewhere, the mayhem continued as the masses threw caution to the chill breeze for bare-chested rollicking on the outside terrace as the pace showed no sign of letting up ‘til super-late. XXL returns with a howling ‘Full Moon’ party this Saturday!
