How would you describe the vibe and fun of the club to a Discotec virgin?
Laurent: Discotec always based itself on European clubbing – hence the name – our motto was and is, to be open minded and versatile to London at large clubbers, offering a bit of everything under one roof.
Why take it south of the river to Brixton Clubhouse?
Adrian: The right place at the right time. The venue is amazing and I think its best suited to the “brand”. London’s clubbing demographics have changed with South and East being the biggest destinations. Brixton Club House is very well packaged, on the same wave that The End was in its days … with clubbers in mind!
What can we look forward to on the night?
Laurent: We’re bringing back everyone from back to front of house, DJs and entertainment with some new injections. I can’t say much more as we want punters to be pleasantly surprised!
Are we having two rooms of music again?
Adrian: The terrace’s dedicated to the urban flavor which always used to be very popular at The End, and the indoor club more dedicated to current house music, with some flashback floor fillers to party the night away.
Will there be more parties in the future?
Laurent: None in the pipeline, but hey we never had a plan to do this one! One dance step at the time…
