INVERT

06/05/11: I know my mother’s signature by heart; you see it came in handy for all the forged letters to my P.E teacher – sports was never my strong point, stereotypical I know.

My youth was spent in my bedroom plastered with posters of the latest pop star, singing in to a hairbrush in front of the mirror. Luckily not everyone conforms to stereotypes, and ‘Invert’ at Central Station is speaking to them. A self-proclaimed party for the deranged and free spirited, with the likes of Kan Chi, Alex X and Wylhelm mixing it up with tekno, drum & Base, elektro and acid on the decks. A welcoming place to be free, where there’s no attitude and it’s all about the music and the dance for a truly diverse crowd. Central Station isn’t afraid to think outside the box, here acknowledging that not everyone lives by a label, in the confines of four Cheryl Cole papered walls. This was a wonderful and harmonius mingling of Central Station regulars and Invert ravers.

Check out more photos from this event and plan your next night out, all in the palm of your hand with the ‘QX Gay London’ iPhone app. Available to download FREE from the iTunes app store.

P.S. Thanks to the lovely Central Station staff for a fab night.
