London has the world's most diverse late night gay scene. Mainly located around its three gay villages - Soho, Shoreditch and Vauxhall - there's a gay nightclub to suit every taste, with music policies ranging from R&B and pop to full-on funky house via more underground, edgier sounds. There are, of course, many one-off and special events that happen around town to keep a look out for. And if it's something more 'adult' that you're after, then there's a whole heap of men-only and fetish special interest clubs out there, too.
25/10/14: Trade, perhaps our city’s most legendary super-party. Innumerable stories recounted from the still disbelieving smiles of the many who frequented it then - nights soldidly devoted to the floor that, even after articulated, probably had to be seen.
29/03/14: Spring has truly sprung at Egg in Kings Cross with Trade, a three-floor full-blown extravaganza they’ll be talking about for ages and already have us queueing up for the next one.
14/12/13: London unwrapped its seasonal clubbing goodies early as the very legendary Trade returned to Egg London for a marathon Christmas blowout at the block-rockin’ King’s Cross venue last weekend.
02/11/13: Last Saturday clubbers from all over the globe came together for a 12 hour nonstop party celebrating Trade’s birthday at new home Egg nightclub!
11/08/12: London’s quite simply the envy of the world at the moment.
BERLIN BERLIN: EGG BIRTHDAY
05/05/12: Home to some of the coolest club nights in town, mega-party venue Egg notched up another spectacular year on the block with a ‘Berlin Berlin’ birthday extravaganza that had the crazed crowds flocking to King’s Cross last weekend.
10/03/12: Attention! Attention! London clubbers are dying and need some mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
SOS: GOD SAVE OUR SCENE
01/05/11: Having spent the Easter Bank Holiday shackled to one's desk, like a princess in a towerblock, it was good to finally let down the old weave and celebrate our royal family’s oh-so-special weekend (I’d curtsey but the terms of my bail forbid me from bending over in public places. Especially King’s Cross!)
