PAPA

26/03/16: In undoubtedly the biggest clubbing weekend of the year, almost every notable touring production touched down on our shores to spread their aural love, and I popped on my dancing shoes and shimmied along to as many as humanly possible all in the name of research for you lot.

In one of the main highlights, Saturday night saw gridlock in SW8 as the hottest Israeli on the planet, Eliad Cohen, brought the Papa World Tour to town for PAPA DON’T PREACH powered by SCRUFF at Fire. We’ve not had a big gay production party at Fire for a while but this one was MAJOR with seemingly every gym card carrying stud descending on the venue to shake their groove thing in one of the three rooms to the likes of Papa international DJ Teddy Clarks accompanied by Papa London residents Tony English, Lee Harris, Zach Burns, Miswhite, Yvette Lindquist, Terry Bryan and Steven Artis. Part of the As One Weekend Festival, Papa went straight in to the ultimate afterhours, Beyond: The Resurrection with stunning production, hot gogos and more of the best music on the planet. Our prayers were well and truly answered.
