Fancy a bit of hockey? Well you’re in luck! The London Royals Hockey club is the UK’s first and largest LGBT hockey club. They’ve been going for ten years, and have devolped into an established and very reputable sports society. They’re all about inclusivity – whilst being a predominantly LGBT organization, they’re open to everyone.

Community: London Friend

London Friend is the UK’s oldest charity for LGBT people. It was established in 1972 to help the health and mental well-being of the LGBT community of London. As it’s grown and developed over the years, their care and subject matter have extended to issues like drug use, homelessness and coming out. Their primary contemporary concerns focus on chemsex, and the rise of crystal meth in London.

 
YMCA Positive Health Programme

YMCA Positive Health Programme

If you’re living with HIV in London and don’t know about Positive Health then it’s time to get with the programme, which is ‘positive’ in both senses of the word. Run by central London’s biggest gym, the YMCA Club close to Tottenham Court Road station, it’s a dedicated exercise referral scheme for individuals living with HIV that is designed, says Positive Health programme co-ordinator Victoria Brown, to improve “fitness, self-esteem and quality of life.”
