Freakshow at The Vaults

Halloween is the perfect time of the year for a massive party; the steel drums of your summertime trop-pop party playlist sound especially callous against the backdrop of London’s grey skies, and it’s just a little too soon for the opening sleigh bells of ‘All I Want For Christmas…’. With everyone in dire need of a bit of a blowout, there’s plenty of parties this Halloween. But, look no further. Freakshow London are pulling out all the stops, going the extra mile and then pulling out all the stops again. And then going another extra mile. Seriously. It is massive.

Set in the murky space of The Vaults in Waterloo, they’re promising an intensely immersive evening of clubaret. It’s one of those events where we don’t want to give too much away, but you have to take our word that it’s going to be an astonishing night of theatrical surprises. Human sacrifice. The Banquet of Blasphemy. Plague Doctors. Space Cadavers. We’ve said too much already. Oh, and your ticket gives you unlimited beer and wine for the evening. Oh what, NOW we’ve got your attention? So unimaginative.

It’s going to be scarier than the Killer Clown AGM and more unpredictable than Sarah Harding’s interpretation of the pottery scene in Ghost The Musical. Head down to The Vaults this Halloween for an evening that’ll really put the willies up you.

• Freakshow’s Halloween Clubaret is on 8pm until late on 28th and 29th October at The Vaults, Leake Street, Waterloo, SE1 7NN, Tickets are £60 and area available from thevaults.london.
