Two of our favourite bars in Soho tell us what’s going to be sleigh-bell swinging over the festive period…
The Edge celebrates Christmas on the weekend of the 19th and the 20th December, with a massive Christmas party weekend, packed out with festive treats, delicious drinks, top tunes, and hot men!
A beautiful bar on the corner of Soho Square, which many will recognize for its iconic night-time hues of pink, yellow and green lights shining up its walls, The Edge kicks off with ground floor resident Keyth David on Friday 19th. He hits the decks with commercial remixes and club floor fillers sliced with a festive twist whilst KrizZ serves up a delicious medley of radio edit madness on the second floor…
On Saturday 20th DJ Aamyko takes the reigns with commercial floor fillers on the ground floor plus Keyth David’s radio edit hit factory on the second floor! Remember though that Saturday night gets rammed, the owners pre-warm, so get there early to avoid having to queue in the cold. And don’t miss the free festive goodies, special ‘santa’ shots and ding dong merrily on hights throughout the weekend.
Down at The Yard, another glittering gem in Soho’s golden crown, Soho’s only al fresco venue offers its customers something of a truly winter wonderland experience this Christmas! Their beautifully decorated – and fully heated, might we stress! – courtyard garden will be especially adorned with festive frivolity to match the merry season.
Inside, the bar is always bustling with a sophisticatedly attractive and well-groomed clientele, offering three distinct spaces to choose from, including the vibrant terrace bar or relaxing loft bar, in addition to the enchanting courtyard! Plus, all you snow-filled winter bunnies won’t want to miss their special Winter and Christmas drinks menu offering mulled wine and hot chocolate with baileys and marshmallows.
Finally, you can pick up 2-4-1 drink and free entry wristbands for The Edge, which this Christmas is open every Friday and Saturday until 4am! Quids in – and a merry old time!
