The Hudson Centre

There’s a new private clinic in Central London catering specifically for gay men who have issues with chemsex and the various psychosexual complications that go along with it.

Which is so important and needed! As we all know by now, chemsex is a growing problem in our city’s gay community.

It might be a little melodramatic to say it’s an epidemic, but it’s certainly headed that way. And with more and more guys racking up and lubing up, it’s important we talk about it and address the issue.

“It might be a little melodramatic to say it’s an epidemic, but it’s certainly headed that way.”

That’s exactly what The Hudson Centre is doing. They’re particularly focusing on WHY it’s become such a trend.

According to clinical observations, it’s all tied in with the psychology of modern gay men. Whilst some people just do it for fun, others do it for all the wrong reasons. As an escape, or to deal with a breakup, or other life hardships.

Sometimes as a result of deeper-rooted issues like shame. Some guys now can’t have sex without being on drugs, and this is the sort of thing The Hudson Project wants to help solve.

They offer psychotherapy and specialised workshops to gay men suffering from exactly these kind of issues. They’ve got a non-judgy, sex positive approach. They’re not looking to make you feel ashamed of yourself, they’re aiming to help you work through your issues in a healthy, progressive way.
