Attention party monsters! If you’re looking for a mash-up of crazy characters and body-trembling tuneage in an explosion of colourful clubbing, then this Friday, make sure you head down to The Joiners Arms in Shoreditch town, as the Spanish Mafia present AdDICKted!
Lee Dalloway spoke to some of the people behind the party to find out about this hot new night…

QX: For those who don’t know, how would you sum up adDICKted?
Pedro: It’s a small sample of how the ‘Spanish Mafia’ has fun… and you should be ready because not everybody can take it! It’s a mix between good music, craziness and fun people; very hot, new and different! If you try it you will get easily adDICKted !
What was the reason for setting up the night?
Rafa: We are quite a big group of friends called the Spanish Mafia with our own queen, La Pequeña, and we are mostly Spanish, but not all, everyone is welcome. It’s not about nationalities; it’s more about the way you have fun and enjoy the night… if you like it hard and crazy you belong to SM.
This month’s session coincides with London Fashion Week, what can we expect on the night?
Pedro: You cannot expect anything and you can expect everything at the same time! From the fashionist to the antifashionist, from the trendsetter to the tackiest…that’s what we want! A cool mix of amazing people.
Tell us about the DJs and music policy.
Rafa: We are three DJs, Jairo Dual, Franx de Cristal and myself, Rafa Davila. None of us follow a unique religion in music and we each one believe in their own Gods… that means every DJ is different from the other but we all have the same goal: to make you sweat and get you mad!
What makes adDICKted so different from other nights on the scene at the moment?
Rafa: It’s different because we are so. We don’t do it as a business, it’s just our way to have fun and we want to share it with everyone. It’s not just a night out, it could be few in one [laughs] as long as your body can last…
La Pequeña: Hostess
Hey gurl! So, why should we get adDICKted? What makes it different from other parties around town?
We didn’t conceive the party just as a business; we want every single person who is coming to have an amazing time. Most of the parties are just oriented to get money, but we want people going crazy, dancing, getting sexual… basics!
There is no space here for snobs, bitchy queens or posers; just people who want have fun! And we are helping them to get it… I’m single by the way [laughs]. You can come and be free, as long as you always respect the rest.
Your look is always so fab, what’s your inspiration for it?
Thank u so much! I’m working in fashion retail and because of that I’m always aware about new trends and make up, but at the end it’s a mix between music icons, fashion and of course amazing people you can find in this exciting city. Every day someone on the street is making my day with his or her outfit!
Tell us more about this month’s party…
It’s a theme party in time for Fashion Week. This month is called SHOW S/S 2013, and we are going to organise our own catwalk, some performances, crazy outfits and, obviously, supermodels… I’m Kate!
