23/02/13: London got gruff for a shakedown on the South Bank as the capital’s biggest weekly bear bash drew in the masses for a roof-raising XXL ‘Retrospective’ party last weekend.
Featuring all the beefed-up action we love but with a tantalising retro twist, the XXL crew were on hand to make it a monumental night to remember.
Plummeting temperatures outside proved no match for a rampant crowd of hot hunks flocking to one of the most popular homosexual shindigs in town as the mercury soared off the scale beneath those pumping Pulse arches.
Massive antics included resident DJ star Christian M surfing a comet trail of supercharged dance licks on the main floor, taking in amazing commercial tracks and white-knuckle underground beats, whilst next door, pop-disco master Joe Egg thrilled with a stunning smash hits rundown that had the burly boyz throwing their hands up ‘til dawn.
