16/02/13: It was big love and bear hugs all the way at XXL last Saturday as the fur turned red for their own brand of cuddled-up Valentine’s party.
Giant hearts and furry mobiles hung throughout the venue, and the middle chill-out arch even had some large trees in pots for that woodland effect. It was anthems all the way from Christian M in the main room while Joe Egg was channeling Whitney and Queen in room.
Like a good box of chocs, the men of XXL came in all shapes and sizes from big and soft to small and hard with lots of muscle, fur and ink on display. As always in the capital’s biggest men only night, the dance floors were packed with fodder for those looking for Mr Right, Mr Right-Now or just a growler-to-go… and without being indiscreet, let’s just say we didn’t get cold that night.
