There’s something for everyone out there in cabaret-land this Christmas. Forget your woes, forget Trumpageddon, and immerse yourself in some live entertainment. This week, Jason Reid runs down his top seasonal cabaret shows...

Jason’s Five Years of Cabaret
Five years ago this week, QX took a chance on an enthusiastic young (I was once) drag hag and offered me a job as their cabaret reporter. To mark half a decade of interviews, this week I’ve been trawling through the archives.
Vanity Takes to YouTube

Heels of Glory is GO!
Heels of Glory is an all-original show that brings various aspects of the cabaret community together for one big action packed drag musical, with names such as Topsie Redfern, Kiki Lovechild, Sarah Louise Young and many more involved. After years in the pipeline, the show is finally set to go ahead at the upcoming London Pride Festival. Jason Reid spoke to writer Tricity Vogue, and Topsie to get the lowdown.
Kasha’s Cocktail Soirée
International celebrity housewife Kasha Davis is a shopper, a lover of laughter and an old school humanitarian. When Kasha took time out to chat with me last week she was preparing to make her UK debut at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern with There’s Always Time For a Cocktail. Like many drag artists, Kasha’s success was far from meticulously planned: “I never imagined I would be doing drag! Like true pros though, they’ve dusted themselves off, risen up - one might say in a supreme manner - and they are back performing again. This week Jason Reid caught up with Vicki Vivacious, who had plenty to say....

We love a ‘journey’ type story here at QX Towers. You know, like that Susan Boyle who went from cat-lady to global superstar in a matter of minutes. This week, cabaret star extraordinaire and Dorset tart with a heart Stephanie Von Clitz tells Jason Reid her story. Grab a brew, and settle in...
Meet Joe Black
A self-described gin drinking cabaret darling, musical comedy misfit, drag clown and acid tongued ringmaster, Joe Black is a performer we’ve had our eye on for a while here at QX Towers. And finally, this week, Jason Reid got to meet the king of cabaret noir...
