Introducing… Conleth Kane

Introducing… Conleth Kane

Conleth Kane has an impressive number of strings to his bow! Enough to make the rest of us feel bad about sitting at home in the dark and binge-watching Stranger Things on Netflix. He’s an actor, a singer AND a dancer! He’s been on telly AND he’s been on the stage! He can do ballads AND he can do hi-NRG dance numbers. So naturally, Dylan Jones took him to The Vaults in Waterloo (totes edgy) for a chat. Conleth told him about his difficult upbringing in Northern Ireland, the treatment of gay men in the acting industry and most importantly, THE TIME HE HAD CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH PAMELA ANDERSON.

Smoke Weed, Eat Pussy. Introducing Fucking Angie

Her name is Ängie, she’s got a song called Smoke Weed, Eat Pussy, and she grew up in a ghetto in the suburbs of Stockholm. Yes, apparently ghettos exist in Sweden. We’re picturing slowly rusting bikes and a bedraggled reindeer picking its way through a sea of Diam bar wrappers.

Raindear

Raindear

The coniferous forests and vaulting glaciers of Sweden have birthed some sonorous icons. From Robyn tumbling around to the dusky electro riff of Call Your Girlfriend, to beguiling galactical geniuses Niki & The Dove, to Loreen’s scintillating snowstorm of a hit, Euphoria! HRNNNK!

Fifth Harmony

Fifth Harmony

Dylan Jones chatted to band member Lauren about exploring London, chilling with Snoop Dogg, and being camp on red carpets.

introducing…LE FIL

introducing…LE FIL

Le Fil is one of the scene’s most promising new recording artists. He’s both sparklingly original and disarmingly self-aware, qualities that are increasingly rare in our Instawhore Kar Krash generation.

We couldn’t stand up after La Pelopony’s latest music video

by Dylan Jones   And neither could she probably, if that screenshot's anything to go by.  We LOVE La Pelopony. She's a mermaid-haired superstar Spanish songstress, who wouldn't look out of place on all fours on the bar at Dalston Superstore. She can quite simply DO. NO. WRONG. And this music video which came out today only enforces that claim. Like...we can't. Sorry, we can't We've had to turn it off. It's too much. Come back to us in 2017. Also La Pelopony, let us know when you're next out in London, we want to take you on a night out babe! We're thinking Dalston Superstore, then Savage, then East Bloc, with a pit stop at Chicken Cottage for some wings.

Interview: Adore Delano

Adore Delano is kind of amazing. Aside from being one of the most entertaining contestants Drag Race has ever seen, she also put out a total barnstormer of an album, full of bona-fide big jams and legit love songs. James Egan woke her up early to have a chat about her UK tour, where she’ll be hitting the Clapham Grand on August 6th with a balls to the wall drag rock show. Get your tickets now, god damn it!
