From the 1st till the 8th of July, the Brussels-based international gay party La Demence, organized its first gay cruise in the Mediterranean from Malaga to Athens with stops in Malta, Mykonos and Santorini.
The ship Horizon that had been chartered for this occasion, had 1200 gays from sixty-one different nationalities on board, ranging in age from eighteen to seventy-eight years old, with all types represented, as is the usual case during the monthly party in Brussels.
At sunset, there were the themed pool Tea dances (‘Where Are You From?’, ‘Disco’, ‘Ladies’ Night’), followed by a break for dinner at one of the restaurants, and the shows at the theatre.
Finally, you could dance under the stars in the middle of the Mediterranean during the open-air parties with the best international DJs. At sunrise, the real clubbers descended down into the ship’s club for the after party…
