Yes! Princess of sleazy underground pop Bebe Rexha has just “dropped” a new single! We’ve put “dropped” in quotation marks because we don’t really like it but we can’t think of how else to phrase it. Released? No, that’s so 2013. Whatevs.
Anyway, it’s called No Broken Hearts, it features Nicki Minaj, and it contains the lyrics “don’t feel the shame, just feel the champagne.”
Bebe first came to our attention last year with gorgeously unhinged punk pop banger I’m Gonna Show You Crazy, the video for which featured lots of netted tights and army boots and eyeliner. A bit like if Effy from Skins had a pop career. Anyway it was just the right amount of self-congratulatory neuroticism.
Anyway we just played No Broken Hearts in the office and we’re rocking out! Crack open the £1.50 vodka cranberry cans, it’s FRIDAY! Oh wait, it’s Wednesday. Oh well.
