Much like actual carpet burn, Eagle London’s much-loved monthly night is HOT, UNEXPECTED and EXCITING. Yes! It’s become a bit of an institution, with the city’s most discerning purveyors of desatardly debauchery descending on the Vauxhall venue for hours of unapologetic hedonism.
This time around, they’re getting into a fleet of Ford Sierra’s and speeding headfirst back to the eighties, to celebrate their eighth birthday! By gay scene clubnight standards these days, eight is practically ancient!
There’ll obviously be lots of eighties vibes. Maybe you can don a hideous blouse and emulate Miss Farmer from Donnie Darko. If one of your friends refuses to dance, throw your drink at them and scream “SOMETIMES I DOUBT YOUR COMMITMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION!” That’ll get things moving.
Carpet Burn are gonna have the best DJs, with Martyn Fitzgerald and Paul Joseph spinning your fave eighties choons man! Sweet!
