Wesley Woods, gay porn star and comedian, opened up about a homophobic attack on Twitter last Friday.
The violent attack occurred on the 8th of August when he and a friend were out walking in West Hollywood. The attack which occurred in a gay neighbourhood in LA is an insight into the rising intolerance in Trump’s America.
He explains in the video that him and his grid were attacked by ‘three straight white heater men’.

His message was not to seek sympathy but to raise awareness of these kinds of attacks, adding that ‘you’re not aways safe in the places you think you are’. He encouraged others to ‘always have someone next to you’, to ‘be aware of your surroundings’ and be ‘prepared to fight for your life’.
He also urged that ‘if you guys see me out this weekend bearing my scars, you’ll say hello’.
