#JULIASAYS – Discerning scene musings from the princess of East London!

A sense of déjà vu coming over you yet? Well, you might have seen it all before but hold on, there’s always a new twist to the equation!

Take a trip to What ever the fuck you like karaoke bonanza on Thursday 22nd November at The Karaoke Hole, 95 Kingsland High Street with host Kevin Le Grand, who brings a uniqueness to the proceedings. We love this Karaoke Hole place, which is open every night until 2am and remember you can grab a slice of pizza from Voodoo Ray’s upstairs if you feel peckish too!

This new night is back – WIMP on Friday 23rd at Yard Bar in Hackney Wick, 10pm – 3am, is where nightlife is exploding with a multitude of looks from host Xoey Fourr and friends. Theme is “McQueen”, so think of extreme looks and own them! The new generation of club dressers go from online fame to real life fabulosity with a sense of pride and major fun!  

The band known for their energetic performances, songs and wacky presence, HMLTD are having a Warehouse Party on Friday 23rd at Studio 9294 in E9 from 8pm till 5am. They are promising an array of special guests and DJs. Expect all sorts and of course major fun!

Over at the Eagle in Vauxhall Carpet Burn’s FEUD: 10th Birthday Party returns  on Friday 23rd November. Special guests The Readers Wifes of Duckie fame and Martyn Fitzgerald of Handsome fame take to the DJ decks for a right old session.  There is an actual casting couch competition too and you could win £250 for the best (or worst) look…FUN! 9pm – 4am. 

Hotting up for the QUEER BALL 2018, the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club on Friday 23rd is where a discerning crowd are getting ready for a 50s and 60s themed night. DJs Nikki Lucas, Alan H and Aquila play a real selection of dance music from said eras…Ska, RnB, Jazz, Boogaloo and Samba! There’s a PA from scenster Don One and an evening full of surprises, competitions and prizes! 9pm till 2am.

When Clash Bash take over, they mean business. It’s their seventh outing and are theming a Biday Party at Dalston Superstore Friday 23rd. DJs upstairs GIN, MRSBAXTER2U and Jacqui Potato. Downstairs, Kate Bones and Bryony Masters b2b with Chester Hayes. Hosted by Finn Love and Juniper Lai. 9pm till 4am.

Okay, this Transister night is really taking off! It’s back at Cell 200 on Friday 23rd November up near Kings Cross. They take their music seriously and invite you to be part of their fierce night where our LGBTQI community offers ‘attitude free clubbing’. DJs Parrot Hilton, Adriana Bradford and TiGoX. Starts at 11pm goes on till 5am.

Have you got your 2019 MEAT calendar yet? It’s a must. I might have to get a few more for prezzies…oh and also MEAT the club night is back at Dalston Superstore on Saturday 24th November till 4am. It’s their last party of 2018, so join DJs Super Drama and Neil Prince in the bar and Mak, Fannar and Ninebob in the basement! Go Go boys on the bar…

The rave that gives meaning to life Papa Loko: Unconditional returns to its spiritual home of Electrowerkz on Saturday 24th. DJs Baime, Othon, Tom & Jarrod, Dopamina play the music that encourages us to expand our transcendental cosmic love! Might sound a bit hippy and trippy and it is, Papa Loko is where to let yourself go from 11pm till 6am.

It’s been a while since Fabric boasted a gay party but Sundays at Fabric present Love Child/Denim Ball PT.2 by Jay Jay Revlon on the 25th November. From 3pm till 7pm the day clubbing experience evolves with an array of DJs, dancers and artists and the Denim Mini Ball Part II presented by Jay Jay Revlon. Then Love Child continues into the night with DJs Hannah Holland, Wes Baggaley and Josh Caffe.

Hi there! Princess Julia LOVES ft. Cassandra! I’m back on Sunday 25th with a fave special guest Cassandra at The Glory from 6pm till 11pm. The Glory opens at 1pm by the way so do pop by!
