How do you spend your time? Do you have to time manage everything!? I’m seriously considering it because honestly there’s always more than one thing going on, on any given night of the week Ha ha!!! Trend report: This weekend we can’t believe how many raves are going on… are they a thing?!
So yes I mentioned this before but those of you interested in the history of clublife will love The Clubland Chronicles a series of artist Mark Wigan’s artworks tracing club culture from the late 70’s over 3 decades. It’s on Thursday 2nd May at Westbank Art, 3-5 Thorpe Close, W10 in Nottinghill from 7.30pm for a private view and after party and on till 16th May. londonwestbank.com
You’ll be glad to know the advantguarde still exists! Check out SISSY SCUM Vol 2 at VFD for ‘femme fronted fury’ hosted by Rodent. It’s a live-art cabaret night with special guest performers Bae Sharam, Ellis D and Shakona Fire. On, on Thursday 2nd from 8pm to midnight.

We are into films and the advant aren’t we!!!? Weimar Launch Night: Jonny Woo presents ‘The Party at the End of the World’ on Thursday 3rd May to take place at the BFI Bar and Kitchen. Then pop into MEAT at the Glory on Friday 3rd May from 10pm till 3am. The MEAT boys are at it again with a 2 floor partay takeover and DJ action from Chaka Khan’t and themselves – Fannar and Adrian- plus cabaret from Barbs and gogo dancing from hot hunk poster boy Joseph.
Very cool night METAL BOX at The Star of Bethnal Green on Friday 3rd May is fast gaining a reputation for their electro, doom nrg, acid synthwave and techno orientated night. 10pm till 2am with DJ’s Jonny Slut, Michelle Manetti and Spatial Awareness it’s free to get in too.
Who’s been to Opulence? Then get ready for Opulence VII: Queer Techno Party on Friday 3rd May at 5 Miles, 39b Markfield Road N15. Starts at 11pm goes on till 5am. DJ’s Seven Ultra Omni, Karen Wilkes and drmxxre.

The community at Mariah & Friendz at The Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club have their 5th birthday bash on Saturday 4th May. Expect Baby Lame, Crystal (Beth), Aurora Galore, Barbs, Petite Lamé and Freida Slaves in fact the cast of London’s drag superstars awaiting you from 9pm till 2am.
More birthday news… Dalston Superstore is celebrating 10 years on the scene and Homodrop are having a special on Saturday 4th May. A huge DJ line up is planned with Jason Kendig from San Fran’s Honeysoundsystem headlining with Gideon in the ‘lazer pit’, Plus Cheriii, Nic Fischer, Chaka Khan’t and Ornography and it’s on ’til 4am.

Well Adonis May Bank Holiday All Day All Night! at The Cause up in Tottenham Hale on Sunday 5th May starts at 2pm and goes on till 6am. It’s a MEGA party with DJ’s including Omer, Lakuti, Gina Breeze, Elles, Jonjo Jury, Grace Sands, Super Drama and Shay Malt!

For something different Oberon White presents Winegod at The Roundhouse on Tuesday 7th May. We saw this in it’s formative stages at The Glory but now Oberon White brings their immersive art performative show to a wider audience. I loved it and you will too if you like a gothic primal drama! 7.30 – 10.30.
