06/07/13: It wouldn’t have been a proper Saturday night out if we didn’t show our face at Circa.
While the world outside obsessed over Wimbledon, we had a different kind of balls on our mind. Walking up to the venue, we could see that Mother Nature had brought out the mandem as well as the warmth. Inside the only DJ booth camper than Alan Carr’s dressing up box, Adam Turner got the crowd energised for the pinnacle of an already great weekend.
A change from the more commercial tunes we usually hear in Soho, Mr. Turner (or Mr. Turn-in-on-for-anyone) dropped a set with a bit more of a kink. So if you like your house and pop with an edge – and your DJ with a boyish/brazen charm, you’re in the right place! And after the finely built bar boys rustled us up a couple cocktails we were enjoying that edgy beat like Michelle Williams when Beyoncé lets her stand in the middle. So we’ll certainly be back next week (who we kidding, we’ll see you on Thursday).
