Comptons

06/04/14: London’s hide-bound homos made a beeline for Comptons as the Leather Social staked its claim on the Old Dame of Compton Street’s popular upstairs bar last Sunday.

Drawing in a respectable crowd of leather lovers for a ‘beer in the gear’, this monthly informal gathering is a great place to meet like-minded men outside of the capital’s more darkroom-focussed fetish scene. Featuring a handsome line-up of bikers, boot boys, admirers and enthusiasts, QX took the opportunity to circulate amongst the throng of gruff guys and dishy dudes who made us feel more than welcome – and we’ll certainly raise a glass to that.

Meanwhile, there was still plenty of action elsewhere with the Sunday regulars mingling with those leather-ladz for top-class hospitality, happening dance beats and always-reasonable drinks prices right through ‘til closing time. Leather Social runs the first Sunday of every month at Comptons from 5pm to 10.30pm. Check out the next one on Sunday 4th May!
